In the majority of situations, it is necessary to consult a doctor in order to obtain a prescription. Additionally, they may need to evaluate whether it is advisable for you to maintain or discontinue a previously prescribed medication.

Why do I need to see a doctor and not a nurse for things like vaccines, blood pressure checks, wound dressings, etc.?

A doctor is able to provide optimal healthcare provision tailored to your needs, and if necessary, obtain the assistance of a nurse either prior to or following your appointment with the doctor. Our receptionists are available to address any specific inquiries you may have pertaining to your appointment, ensuring you receive comprehensive guidance.

Do I need to see doctor for immunisation?

Yes. The doctor should be on hand to manage any issues that arise before and after such procedures eg manage the immediate complications of vaccination. A nurse works with the doctor.
